First lung transplantation after cardiocirculatory determination of death

In 2012, the lungs of a donor were procured and transplanted after cardiocirculatory determination of death (CDD) for the first time, with the collaboration of Dr. Pasquale Ferraro and the lung transplantation program at Hôpital Notre-Dame.
